There is an old Chinese saying "To Eat First". This is a belief that has survived through the ages, compelling the Chinese to give food the priority that it so rightly deserves.
During the successive dynasties, Emperors made it their first task to appoint a court chef. These chef's come from all different regions of China & naturally, countless of fine cuisines were created.
Here, at the New Emperor Court, we have chosen to specialise in the three most famous Provincial cuisines, Peking Szechuan & Canton.
Peking Dishes: - Light, always extremely elegant & delicately seasoned.
Szechuan Dishes:- Hot & Spicy with Chilli Peppers being the characteristic ingredient.
Cantonese Dishes:- Specialising in the techniques of Stir frying & steaming retaining nutrients, colour & flavour of fresh food, in particular with seafood.
