Welcome to the New Emperor Court
Chef of the year (Quality Cuisine UK)
Superb food - Superb Service
Set in the heart of Clifton Village the New Emperor Court is renown for its wonderful Chinese cuisine (The Restaurant is also extensively used as a take away, nearby residents can phone and collect their order from the take away menu or by ordering from the al la carte menu which includes a 10%discount)
The New Emperor Court oriental cuisine specialises in the three most famous provincial cuisines: Peking, Szechuan and Canton. Peking dishes are light, elegant and delicately seasoned. Szechuan dishes are the opposite: they are hot and spicy, with chilli peppers being the characteristic ingredient. Cantonese dishes specialise in the technique of stir-frying and steaming, which retains the nutrients, colour and flavour of fresh food - particularly seafood.
You will not fail to be impressed by the welcome and genuine desire to please that Thanh Que Vien (Head chef) and his wife Kim Lien Vien proffer in their well established Restaurant which is the key to their success.
